Motion was formed by Jordan Ezra in June 2024 consisting of Brandon (13) on vocals, Aiden (15) on piano, Aedric (15) on drums, Shawn (19) on bass and Jordan (15) on guitars. Jordan also holds the mantle as the band’s producer.

All 5 members are multi-instrumentalists and also contribute to songwriting. They are all students of Bentley Music Academy in Kuala Lumpur, where they meet weekly for their regular music classes and practice sessions. The band first came together during the launch of Jordan’s debut solo album “Oddity in Duality” for which he was awarded the Malaysia Book of Records as the Youngest to compose and produce a debut solo album. Encompassing 10 instrumental tracks, Jordan played all the instruments on the album including rhythm and lead guitars, bass, drums, and piano. The entire album was recorded in his home music room, where he also mixed and mastered all the songs. The album was released on major streaming platforms in April 2024.

Motion has since played live at famed venues Drum Asia Live in July 2024 and recently at Bobo KL where they debuted their single: I’ll Miss The Sun and Traffic Lights. Motion also performs regularly at various Bentley Music Academy events.
